Drainage design is now becoming a major part of acquiring permission to construct a new development. With recent changes in climate and resultant changes in legislation and environmental restrictions, the days of simplistic design are over.

 SUDS plays a major part in design and requires the software and expertise to match the stringent requirements of the Environment Agency, Utilities companies and Authorities controlling surface water and foul drainage systems.

We undertake initial agreements with the Environmental Agency in establishing the acceptable discharge rate from the proposed development, Liaise with the Local Authority or Utility Company in relation to the design and discharge points, provide copies of all calculations together with Plans, Sections and Details of all drainage proposed for the site including attenuation by enlarged pipes, hydrocell, porous paving or pond.

Full details of all parts of the design with manhole schedules individually depicting each manhole at 1:20 scale with all associated information can be provided.
