3D Visualisation
Our software has the capability of rendering our 3d models to a very high standard but, in addition to our surface design and drainage design capabilities, all of our design is available as a 3d model and can be incorporated into other software for visualisation purposes.
3d visualisation can be very useful in providing the non-professional with an appreciation of the look of the finished article without having to be able to understand drawings or the technical jargon associated with them.
Our 3d visualistion can be as basic or complicated as required, using draped imagery for realistic landscape effects and available in mpg format or on CD for display purposes including walk thoughs and fly-by's. You choose the level of definition and we will be happy to provide it.We specialise in the creation of advanced 3D Virtual Models. These are far more flexible than a conventional “Fly-Through”, as they allow the user, or viewer (whether they be the client, public, planning officer or whoever) to travel anywhere within the model, in the way that one would move around within a video game. This allows the viewer to see and understand the visual impact of a proposal from any vantage point within the area modelled.
The examples shown are taken from highway and wind farm schemes, but the technique applies equally well to development projects, where the models tend to cover smaller areas, but at a higher level of detail, to better illustrate buildings.Please click on the links to view the movie clips.
